annoying sales calls ,

I just contacted Chase Bank. The man in customer service said all of their telephone numbers begin with 800. I think this is some type of scammer. If you call the number back (I blocked my ID) you'll just get a ringing phone and lots of static. Fishy. Just to be safe NEVER give any banking or personal information to these people without calling your bank FIRST!

This call had all the makings of a scam. wanted to sell my boat for me for the small fee of $299.00. The second I started to question him, he hung up on me. Prior to speaking with him today, he had tried to contact me daily for about the previous week.

wanted to update the credit card for my newspaper account

Got a call from this place and hit 1 to talk to a person and said for the 100th time stop calling me. The guy got mad and starting yelling at me saying do you even know why we're calling? I said no. He said you have 3 credit cards that you pay on time and pay more then the minimum amount right? I said yes. He said we'll lower the interest rate to 9.99%. So he said I need you start with the credit card that begins with a 4 read me the middle numbers. I said no I'm not giving you my numbers. In a stern voice he said look we can't do nothing without the 3 digit number on the back and we're not asking for your mother's maiden name. I said no there's too much credit card fraud going around. After telling him no three times. He said you know something you're a dumb guy. I said I'd rather be a dumb guy and keep my good credit card record. He hung up. Call my three credit card companies and go new cards with new numbers.

Never answer, and when i try to call back, i get a message saying the number is no longer in service.

Has called 10 times in last 3 days at different times. Morning noon and night including tonight at 11:03 pm. When we answer no one is there . We now let the machine pick it up. Whoever they are they do not leave a message.

They don't leave voice mails; if u call back they just give u the option to press 1 to get off their list but they won't tell u who they are or what they want.

have no idea who this is. came up on id as unknown. do not want harassing phone calls

Something about card member services.. but when I returned the phone call it tells me that the voice mail is full.

alex called and claimed i owed them money from last year from a payday loan on line - i never took a payday loan last year.
